  Business Plus is a unique 10 week course that aims to improve students’ English language competency in a business and workplace context.

  1. Essential grammar and vocabulary skills for the workplace / business environment
  
  
  2. Business communication skills such as written communication (emails, proposals, reports, etc) and oral communication such as PowerPoint presentations, business meetings and job interviews

  Overview

  The Cambridge courses provide intensive overall English language proficiency development as well as focused examination preparation and practice, with particular focus on exam strategies and techniques. The course includes mock exams with individual feedback given to students on their strengths and weaknesses so that they can develop the best study strategy to pass.

  
  

  Cambridge Suite Examinations have worldwide recognition and are designed especially for international students who are aiming to improve their overall proficiency in English, mainly for work or further study purposes. Most universities accept the CAE qualification and the Department of Immigration and Citizenship, DIAC, in Australia recently approved the use of the CAE for visa applications.

  IELTS 1 e IELTS 2 são programas de preparação exclusivos da Langports que incidem especificamente na elaboração da versão acadêmica do exame IELTS. Este programa foi criado para melhorar, não apenas as quatro habilidades macro essenciais para o exame IELTS (ouvir, ler, falar e escrever), mas também fornece uma profundidade de foco nas habilidades micro, tais como técnicas e estratégias de leitura, ortografia, gramática e linguagem estratégica do teste.
  
  IELTS 1 & IELTS 2 têm um forte foco nos componentes de escrita do exame. Uma nota alta no IELTS requer uma boa variedade de vocabulário, de colocação, de gramática e de escrita.
  
  Os professores do IELTS são extremamente treinados em gramática e dentro dos termos da Lei, também são treinados para ensinar além do livro didático, utilizando os recursos de TI complementares, extensivamente em sala de aula.

  Overview

  TOEIC Plus is a unique course that aims to improve students English language competency in a business and workplace context.

  
  

  Students are taken through an intensive 5 week program, which prepares them not only with testing taking skills and strategies for the TOEIC examination, but also with improved communicative skills in speaking and writing.

  
  

  Students study an extensive range of grammar structures and vocabulary, complete written assignments and deliver oral presentations throughout the course. At the end of this course, students will demonstrate the necessary skills to take the TOEIC exam and to communicate in the everyday work place.

  Our UFO English is an intensive English program that is only available at Langports. Each student is tested and interviewed on their first day and a Langports Study Plan (LSP) is devised to guide students to their study objectives.

  
  

  The UFO English curriculum has 3 daily components:

  • Main English Class that covers overall EL skills (activation, production, consolidation and integration of areas such as grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation)

  Every student studies at the correct level for each macro skill (most schools place students at just one level for all skills): Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking and has the opportunity to choose the Options class in the afternoon, the area which he wishes to specialize in. Options include Elementary, TESOl, TOEIC, IELTS 1 & 2, Business English, ALPS (Advanced language and presentation skills), Conversation, Pronunciation , grammar, vocabulary etc. These classes are subject to availability.
